Each donation helps fund the boring of a new deep water well in Uganda or the purchase of new bicycles to be donated throughout the country.  Well boring makes significant changes in the lives of residents in a succinct and identifiable village in Uganda.  Bicycle purchases change a single person’s life and improves the lives of that person’s entire family.  You will forever carry the knowledge that your contribution to our well boring program, together with others, has undoubtedly saved the lives of many children for generations to come, or in our bicycle program, has eased the daily burden for a particular individual.

Wheels and Wells gratefully accepts donations of any size:
The cost to complete the drilling of a well for a medium sized village, along with a properly sized pump and storage tank is: $50,000.00.  The cost of a bike is $125.00.
Donate $50,000.00
This will pay for the complete construction of a deep water well to serve a village of 1500 people, together with a generator, water pump, and storage tank.  The well will be named in your honor with a permanent bronze plaque memorializing your generosity. You will receive a bound book of photographs of the completed well with an assembly of the grateful population of the entire village, including a photograph of the Sponsor’s bronze plaque of recognition:.  Documentation including the village’s name and population statistics, together with the village’s personalized expression of gratitude and appreciation will be provided.
Donate $15,000
This will provide enough to dig a well to serve a smaller village of several hundred people, using a hand pump without the need for, or expense of, a generator or storage tank.  The well will be named in your honor with a permanent bronze plaque memorializing your generosity.  You will receive a bound book of pictures of the completed well, including an assembly of the entire villager population expressing their gratitude and appreciation, and including the village’s name, population statistics, and a photograph of the Sponsor’s bronze plaque of recognition:

Sponsors will be named on bronze plaque, provided with a framed photograph of the well with villagers surrounding it and the recognition plaque.

Provide a basic, but strong bicycle, with heavy duty tires built to withstand the heat, humidity, and unpaved roads of western Uganda.
